General Applications:
Castor oil ethoxylate is a polyethylene glycol derivative of Castor Oil with an average of 36 moles of ethylene oxide. Castor oil ethoxylates are used as Detergents, Dyeing Assistants, Emulsifiers, Wetting agents, viscosity control agent, dispersant, lubricant, solubilizing agent and emollient in both industrial and cosmetic formulations such as metal working, personal care products, emulsion polymerization and textile. Castor oil ethoxylates are commonly formulated with the calcium salt of a linear or branched chain dodecyl benzene sulphonate as balanced pair surfactants for emulsifiable concentrate formulations.
