General Applications:

2-Ethylhexanol Ethoxylate is mainly used in the formulation of drilling mud. 2-Ethylhexanol Ethoxylate is also a very low foaming surfactant with defoaming properties on protein foam, so it could be also used in metal cleaning formulations. It has a good cleaning effect on hard surfaces and is intended for use in water based alkaline cleaners.
